We are recruiting assistant staff to support the live performances of the Saxophone Samurai, who operates as a Nagoya Tourism Goodwill Ambassador.

Job description
- Loading/unloading of equipment and instruments, setup/dismantling
- Crowd control (safety management and basic security) of customers during and immediately after the performance
- Possible requirement to drive in the future
Working hours
- Weekdays: between 17:00 and 21:00
- Weekends and public holidays: May be all day (possibility of multiple projects)
- Rarely, there are projects on weekdays during the day
Work location
- Centred in Nagoya city
- Sites in neighbouring municipalities available
- Occasional trips outside the prefecture required (accommodation expenses provided)
Work process
- Loaded the equipment brought by the saxophone busker onto a trolley and transported it to the venue
- Rigging and setup of equipment and materials (*Setup of musical instruments will be handled by Sax Samurai)
- Safety management and crowd control during the performance (keeping aisles clear, considering tactile paving, etc.)
- Organisation of post-performance tipping, photos, and handshake queue
- Dismantling of equipment and loading into the equipment vehicle (driving and warehouse loading/unloading may be required in the future)
Remuneration and benefits
- Travel expenses provided
- Meals provided during long hours of work
- Accommodation expenses provided if an overnight stay is required
Prerequisite
- Someone with a reasonable level of physical strength (capable of loading and unloading equipment without issues)
- Someone who looks clean and tidy
- Someone who is punctual, keeps promises, and understands basic manners
Desirable requirements
- Experienced wind instrument player (especially saxophone)
- Someone familiar with the operation of sound equipment
