I am speaking at such an eventWHERE WE SPEAK

01career education in lower and upper secondary schoolsFor the generation starting to think about their future paths. To those feeling that they "can't find what they want to do" or are "facing opposition from those around them," I offer answers in my own words, shaped by taking the long way round. This session is held during school assemblies, year-group assemblies, and integrated studies periods.02Lectures at universities and vocational collegesTo students studying the arts, music, design, and other forms of expression. I will be talking about how to "deliver" your work, which is just as important as creating it, using real examples and figures. At Aichi University of the Arts, I gave a lecture aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students.03Corporate and organisational training / in-house lecturesHow to build a brand that enables individuals to compete with large corporations, how to spread awareness on social media, and how to balance social contribution with business. We can also tailor the content for those in charge of new business ventures and PR.04courses by local authorities and community groupsTalk events and public lectures themed around tourism promotion, urban development, and communicating the region's charm. I will share practical examples from my experience as a "Nagoya Human Tourist Spot" and "Nagoya Tourism Ambassador".

Become the person you want to be

This is a talk about finding what you truly want to do and taking action, without being bound by the opinions of those around you or notions of how things "should" be.

The motivation behind starting out as the Saxophone Samurai, the choice to conceal both his real face and name, and the period when things did not go well.Things I can only talk about because I've taken the long way aroundI will share what is important for shaping a lifestyle that is true to yourself through.

combine lectures and performancesTALK & MUSIC

The most common type of Saxophone Samurai lecture isA structure alternating between storytelling and live music. We deliver feelings that cannot be expressed through words alone, along with the sound of the moment. We also accept joint performances with brass band or choir clubs, and performances of school songs.

Below is an example of a 90-minute (double period) session at a school. The timing, number of tracks, and order can be freely rearranged to suit the purpose of the event.

90-minute structure example (school, 2 consecutive periods)0:00Opening performanceOne song. First, I would like to greet you with sound.0:05Part one of the story20 minutes. Until the Saxophone Samurai is born0:25Performance10 minutes0:3510 minute break0:45Part 2 (Story)20 minutes. What I did when I hit a brick wall1:05Performance & Collaboration15 minutes. Collaborations with wind bands and choirs are also welcome.1:20Q&A and commemorative photo session - 10 minutesEven a single 45 or 50-minute session can be arranged. In that case, a structure of roughly "a 20-minute talk + 2 pieces of music + Q&A" is recommended.
