FAQFAQ

We have put together some frequently asked questions regarding interview requests.

QAre copyright royalties (JASRAC) paid for songs performed live?A

All music copyright royalties have been duly and properly paid.

Depending on the venue, the hall or organiser may hold a blanket licence agreement with JASRAC or a similar organisation. In such cases, we will perform within the scope of that agreement.

If you are not under a blanket agreement, you may be asked to pay the organiser directly, or in the case of small amounts, it is sometimes covered by Sax Samurai.

Rest assured that in all cases, we always register all the musical works performed before playing them.

QHow are rights handled when using music in broadcasts or articles?A

Regarding the use of music in broadcasts and streaming,Please carry out the usual procedures on your media organisation's side. For broadcasting organisations, I imagine this is usually handled within the scope of a comprehensive agreement.

If you have any requests for the pieces to be performed, please let us know in advance. We can also make adjustments, such as selecting music for which rights clearance is easier to process.

QCould you please show your real face and provide your name?A
