Criteria for cancelling outdoor live performancesThe decision isn't based on the weather on the day,Weathernews and Yahoo! Weathergoing by the forecast.either of themCancel if the following apply.
・雨Precipitation of 0.1 mm or more
・風Wind speeds of 6 m/s or more (5 m/s or more for Sakae Hiroba due to wind tunnels caused by buildings)
・High temperatureTemperature during the performance 30℃ or higher / Maximum temperature of the day 36℃ or higher / Heatstroke alert issued / Heatstroke radar "Severe Warning" or higher
・Low temperatureTemperature minus wind speed (m) is 0 or below
In addition, we may cancel the event if there is a foreseeable risk of danger to the performers or audience.

Requests for the venueAT THE VENUE
To ensure everyone can enjoy the performance comfortably, we have a few polite requests. These are all due to the fact that we are now welcoming much larger audiences. We kindly ask for your understanding.
OKTaking photographs and recording videos are very welcomePlease feel free to take photos. If you are going to post them on social media, ‘# Sax Samurai’ I would be grateful if you could tag us. If possible, please mention us in your Instagram story. I would be thrilled if you could send the recorded video via Instagram DM and let us use it in our post.Please note that photography may not be permitted in some venues.
Not goodWe do not accept requests for two-shot photographs, autographs, or handshakes.I am very sorry. As we currently have a very large number of customers, if we were to accommodate even one person, a flood of others would rush in and it would take a great deal of time. Therefore, we are currently declining such requests.Please refrain from doing this, as it creates unfairness even after the number of customers has decreased. Some people also take selfies when tipping or distributing stickers, but please refrain from doing so as there may be people waiting.
Not goodAs a rule, we do not accept song requests.As accepting one person would lead to receiving requests from many others and we wouldn't be able to manage the live stream properly, we, as a rule, have to decline.
Not goodWe do not accept walk-ins or impromptu jam sessions.I am terribly sorry, but we generally do not do that at our usual live shows. This is due to both rule-based restrictions regarding venue permits and my preference to perform at my own pace.
Not goodPlease refrain from bringing gifts or donations.I'm terribly sorry. I basically get around on a moped, and my equipment and instruments already fill up all my luggage space. While I truly appreciate the sentiment, I would be grateful if you could refrain from doing so.
Frequently asked questions for first-time visitorsQUESTIONS
Aren't you a Komuso?This hat is called a "ronin hat" and is worn by samurai. It is slightly different from the "komuso hat" worn by komuso monks.
What is a straight instrument?It is an instrument called a "soprano saxophone". It is often mistaken for a clarinet, but it is also a type of saxophone.
Do you sell CDs?We do not sell CDs, and there are currently no plans to produce them. We hope you enjoy our videos on social media and other platforms.
I want you to come to my prefecture as well, please.Regarding performances further afield in particular, we don't generally choose the locations ourselves; rather, we visit places when we receive a request to do so. If we are fortunate enough to receive a request, we would be delighted to perform there.
