What is BLUE GIANT?

BLUE GIANT is a jazz manga by Shinichi Ishizuka that tells the story of Dai Miyamoto, a high school student captivated by the saxophone who aims to become the world's best jazz player. Moving its setting from Sendai to Tokyo and then to Europe, the story depicts Dai growing alongside his friends and moving people with his music. In the third arc of the series, BLUE GIANT MOMENTUM, a new story unfolds as Dai crosses over to New York, USA, to take on the world's highest peak of the jazz scene.
